Games for Brain

Hi Girls^^ there are so many FUN ways that you can do to maximize the ability of your brain so you will study better at school. I have five favorite games that I love to play with my family and friends and they are so awesome because they help to train your brain and increase the ability to solve problems, create strategies and logic. Now you also can play them with your best friends in your spare time :-)

Scrabble

A word game in which two to four players score points by forming words from individual lettered tiles on a game board marked with a 15-by-15 grid. The words are formed across and down in crossword fashion and must appear in a standard dictionary.

The name Scrabble is a trademark of Hasbro, Inc. in the United State and Canada. The game is sold in 121 countries in 29 different language versions. One hundred and fifty million sets have been sold worldwide, and sets are found in one out of every three American homes.

Sudoku

A logic-based combinatorial number-placement puzzle, the objective is to fill a 9×9 grid with digits so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 sub-grids that compose the grid contains all of the digits from 1 to 9. The puzzle setter provides a partially completed grid, which typically has a unique solution.

Completed puzzles are always a type of Latin Square with an additional constraint on the contents of individual regions. For example, the same single integer may not appear twice

▪                in the same 9×9 playing board row

▪                in the same 9×9 playing board column or

▪                in any of the nine 3×3 subregions of the 9×9 playing board

The puzzle was popularized in 1986 by the Japanese puzzle company Nikoli under the name Sudoku, meaning single number. It became an international hit in 2005.

Chess

A board game played between two players. It is played on a chessboard, which is a square-checkered board with 64 squares arranged in an eight-by-eight grid. At the start, each player controls sixteen pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. The object of the game is to checkmate the opponent’s king, whereby the king is under immediate attack and there is no way to remove or defend it from attack on the next move.

The current form of the game emerged in Europe during the second half of the 15th century. Theoreticians have developed extensive chess strategies and tactics since the game’s inception.

Puzzle

Problem or enigma game that tests cleverness of the solver. In a basic puzzle, one is intended to piece together objects (puzzle pieces) in a logical way in order to come up with the desired shape, picture or solution. Puzzles are often contrived as a form of entertainment, but they can also stem from serious mathematical or logistical problems. Solutions to puzzles may require recognizing patterns and creating a particular order.

The Rubik’s Cube is 3D mechanical puzzle invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor Ernő Rubik. Originally called the “Magic Cube”, the puzzle was licensed by Rubik to be sold by Ideal Toys in 1980 and won the German Game of the Year special award for Best Puzzle that year. As of January 2009, 350 million cubes have sold worldwide making it the world’s top-selling puzzle game. It is widely considered to be the world’s best-selling toy.

Classic Rubik’s Cube is covered by nine stickers among six solid colors, traditionally white, red, blue, orange, green, and yellow. For the puzzle to be solved, each face must be a solid color. Similar puzzles have now been produced with various numbers of stickers, not all of them by Rubik. The original 3×3×3 version celebrates its thirtieth anniversary in 2010.

There are many brain games available online and you can train your brain with them. pick your favorite games, play it with your family and friends

Love, Summer ❤
