Hi Girls… On March 31st, 2010, I went to the ISC Opening (Indonesian Surfing Championship Season Launch 2010) with my friend, Julie. We were very excited as this event would be the landmark of Coca Cola’s support towards surfing in Indonesia. That’s right! ISC is signing a 3 year contract with Coca Cola for the very first time, and it only happens in Indonesia! How cool is that?!

Coca Cola sees that Indonesia has a good prospect in surfing particularly in Bali. Therefore, Coca Cola will support all events held by ISC, whether it’s a surfing competition or any other event. Coca Cola will give away surfboards to any brand surf company that supports the ISC in 2010 like Rusty, Ripcurl, Reef, Quiksilver, Oakley, and drink vendors at the beach.

Together ISC and Coca Cola also hope to promote and create additional awareness about how important it is to keep the beautiful beaches and ocean in Indonesian clean for generations of surfers to come.

The event was also attended by pro surfers and Indonesian surf legends, Tipi Jabrik, Rizal Tanjung, Lee Wilson, Mustofa Jeksen, Garut, Marlon Gerber, and many more. Julie and I had a blast catching up with all the surfers in Bali and celebrating the start of what I am sure will be another totally awesome year of surfing in Indonesia We can’t wait to join this years ISC surf competition
